Job Costing / Labor Distribution
Employees use their bar coded and/or magnetic striped badge to
activate the data capture terminals to track progress throughout the
day, specific operation changes and time spent on particular tasks.
Supervisors can also track these changes by using a hand-held portable
unit to record their employee's production.
You can specify job, departments, operations, etc. to capture based
on your operational needs. All the information captured (either from the
terminals or the portable units) is transmitted to your PC via software
created by ASC.
Your captured job and labor information is now easily and immediately
accessible to supervisors and management personnel so that informed
decisions can be made on a timely basis. Meaningful reports can be
produced that will easily and clearly pinpoint areas for improvement in
production, efficiency, cost control, job costing, and labor.

Time and Attendance
Employees are issued a badge that has a bar code and/or magnetic
stripe which is used to activate a data capture terminal. Vital
information such as date, time and employee badge number will be
permanently recorded into memory.
These "smart" terminals have programmable keys so any
additional information that is important to your timekeeping can be
captured. All this time and attendance information is transmitted from
the terminals to your PC via software created by
ASC.
Our simple yet sophisticated system uses friendly prompts to process
and manage your time and attendance data and can interface with your
current check writing software or other programs you are using.

Job Order Tracking
Using electronic data collectors, any job order can be scanned in or
out at each work station -- from beginning to end. This allows any
manufacturer or service company to vastly improve customer service by
calling up the customer's order status on your PC and viewing its
status.
Data is then ready for editing and viewing. Completed, pending,
and/or terminated job records can be reviewed, edited and reports
generated per used specifications. Job order status is quickly obtained
and reports can be generated that will assist all the departments that
are involved.

PC Entry
Employees can enter time, attendance, job, labor, project information
right from their desktop PC and data is uploaded to the network for
processing. Prompts can be customized for your company. PC
Entry can be used as a replacement for, or in conjunction with
electronic time clocks, intranet and internet for real cost savings,
efficiency and convenience.

Optional Features
Multi-User Version: Utilizing the LAN system, file maintenance
and records editing can be shared among multiple computer operators.
This provides direct communication between supervisors and payroll
personnel.
Supervisor Edit: Allows supervisors and computer operators to
edit and maintain employee records simultaneously. LAN system will
provide supervisors the ability to print and access certain reports from
their workstations.
Interface Services: ASC will create, maintain and guarantee
program interfaces from our system to programs your company would like
to share data with, such as payroll, human resources, accounting, MRP
systems, database programs and platforms such as AS/400 and others.
Employee Point System: Allows management to assign
"points" to particular employee activities such as sick time,
excused absences, unexcused absences, early leave excused and unexcused,
etc. It manages your company rules by assigning points, and the system
will track points and accrue them so management can take action
accordingly.
Electronic Time Accrual: Automatically accrues all earned time
off, such as Vacation, Sick and Personal and tracks all hours used and
unused.
Door/Clock Access: Employee's barcoded and/or magnetic
striped badge is used to activate the data capture terminal. Access is
either gained or denied per your specifications and historical records
of access are kept for auditing purposes.
All the information is kept in memory until recalled by software
created by ASC. Reports can track employee "in and outs"
for any period of time and can be used for roll call at the beginning of
a shift, for example.
Bell Control: Enter start, stop, break, lunch
times and a bell will ring at the specified times. Bell Ringers are
attached directly to the electronic time clocks and the software is
integrated with EPM.
Badge-making Systems: Any type of ID badge that
your Company would like for your employees can be created. ASC has
all the components available whether you would like a simple magnetic
stripe/bar coded badge, or full color digitized photo badge. We
can provide any badge accessory such as clips, protectors and neck
lanyards as well as a complete video system with badge printer.
